ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2070S A8G Gaming Graphics Card

The Asus Strix RTX2070S A8G is towards the higher-priced version of the RTX 2070 Super, and for good reason.

This 2070 Super sits neatly as approximately the “5th best GPU available on the planet”, with the 1080Ti, 2080, 2080Ti and RTX Titans above it on the leaderboards.

With that said, it’s significantly cheaper, while still being able to play 2019 games on Ultra at 4k.

I tested this card with an i5 6600k and achieved around 60FPS average on the Witcher 3 4k/ultra.

The Strix 3 fan setup is both cool and quiet. Not only do Strix cards perform well, but they are also reliable and look awesome.

I would recommend using a custom fan curve with MSI afterburner.

The other considerations near this price range would be the 5700XT and the 2060S which threaten the 2070S as the 2070S threatens the aforementioned cards.
